After last weeks defeat to Leeds, Saints travel to Hull KR this evening in Round 7 of the season (8:00pm)

East Hull hasn’t always been a happy hunting for the boys in the Redvee, winning on only one of our previous nine visits.

In terms of the squad, the only change for Saints sees Morgan Knowles back into the 19 at the expense of Ryan Morgan, indicating that Justin Holbrook is likely to only make the one change to the side. It’ll be interesting to see who Knowles replaces in the 17 – will it be a straight swap for Matty Lees, with LMS spelling at Prop, or could Holbrook go for a bigger bench at the expense of Theo Fages, as he looks to negate the long term loss of Alex Walmsley?

Hull KR have had a mixed start to the season, but their performance in winning 38-6 at Huddersfield shows they aren’t to be taken lightly. Ex Saints Mose Masoe, Tommy Lee and Adam Quinlan are all expected to play, whilst Danny Mcguire leads with the knowhow to guide them round the park. If Saints give KR any sort of lead to defend, then McGuire could well try and slow the game down and kick us to death.

That being said, many of the Saints boys have a point to prove after last weeks poor performance, and I’m going for a Saints win.
