Saints last visit to the South of France came in June 2016, where a close first half saw the boys go in trailing 13-6.
Ex Wiganer Pat Richards opened the scoring with a penalty a few mins in, before Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook gave Saints the lead for the only time in the game. Yaha and Albert crossed, before a late Todd Carney drop goal gave the Dragons a 7 point lead at the break.
Saints hopes were raised when an Adam Swift try dragged Saints to within 3 points with a try early in the Second half, but Saints collapsed conceding four tries in a fifteen minute spell, with Danny Broughton getting a double and Morgan Escare and Tony Gigot getting on the scoresheet. A late Shannon McDonnell try brought a little bit of respectability to the scoreline but the damage had already been done.
