A shocker of a weekend for us last week as we went 1-5, lessons learnt so let’s get back on the horses… still up for the year!

Wakefield v Leigh +2

Been hugely impressed by Leigh, with their best form coming at the LSV…. at some point they’ll transfer that form to games on the road, and the Centurions will be targeting this as a winnable game.

Huddersfield +8 v Leeds

Leeds seemed to have clicked into gear over the last couple of weeks, and will be better for the extra couple of days rest after last weekends games. The Giants showed resilience In gaining a draw against a weakened Wigan side, so we’ll take them +8, but we think Leeds will sneak it.

St Helens -4 v Warrington

You have to fancy Saints this week, after last weekends good performance in France the boys will be playing with confidence and be buoyed by the return of Matty Smith. Wire are in dire straights and with injuries biting, their first win won’t be here.

Widnes v Salford -6

Salford were absolutely tremendous v Castleford, and if they play half as well here they should see off the Viking with ease.

Wigan (scr) v Hull

Those betting earlier in the week would have got Hull +8, but that has now been levelled out to a scratch game. Wigan drew with the Giants, but played with only two subs for the majority – will they fail to win at home twice running? Hard to see it happening…. but then I’ve just seen the Wigan 19 man squad. Severely understrength. Take Hull

Castleford -14 v Catalans

Castleford have been simply scintillating at home, whilst I simply can’t trust Catalans on the road, after they burnt out fingers at Headingley. Cas will have learnt lessons from their defeat last weekend, and will put on a show at home once again.
