Yet a another winning week for Bet Redvee last week as we once again went 4-2 for the week – let’s hope we can keep winning!!

Leigh +8 v Warrington

After the way Warrington have started the season, why on earth would you choose to take them on the handicap -8? It could be argued that at some point the Wire will kick into gear, but they come to the LSV to face a Leigh side who have shown they are more than capable of scoring points at home – the 30 point drubbing of Huddersfield last time out means they’re full of confidence, and even if Warrington escape with the victory, it shouldn’t be a bigger margin than 8 points.

Pick: Leigh +8

Hull FC v Widnes +20

For weeks now I’ve slated Widnes, but a credible draw away at Catalan showed they won’t be whipping boys to everyone – Castleford blew them away last week, but Daryll Powell’s charges will do that to a lot this year. Despite Hull beating us last week, I wasn’t too impressed, and a 20 point start on the handicap is one that should be reserved for the likes of only Wigan playing at home and Cas at the moment. I expect Widnes to post a couple of scores, will Hull score at least 30+? Probably not.

Pick: Widnes +20

Leeds v Wakefield +12

We certainly didn’t see that Leeds drubbing of Catalans coming last week – but was that simply a case of the French side once again raising the white flag when the going gets tough on the road? It’ll be interesting to see if they back it up this week – Wakefield will see this be a tough affair, and coming on the back of consecutive wins confidence will be high.

Pick: Wakefield +12

Catalans -6 v St Helens

Until proven otherwise, you can’t trust our boys to ensure your money is safe. Saints are currently 1-3 against the handicap, and despite getting destroyed away at Headingley, Catalans usually fare better in Perpignan. Take the French

Pick: Catalan -6

Wigan -18 v Huddersfield

Huddersfield are absolutely terrible at the moment – they couldn’t score away at Leigh, so why should a visit to the scruffier side of Wigan borough prove to be any different? Wigan will punish them heavily.

Pick: Wigan -18

Salford v Castleford -10

CHOO CHOO!!! We’re still fully aboard the Cas Train! The bookies must know something we don’t, because to us Cas -10 looks like buying money. Easiest pick of the weekend!

 Pick: Castleford –10
