We’ve been awful for weeks, so time to improve?!
Leeds -18 v Huddersfield
After suffering defeat at home to Swinton in the Cup, a trip to Headingley may well have been the last thing that the Giants would have wanted to face this week. Leeds seem to enjoy swatting the lower place teams down at time – take them to continue that here.
Pick: Leeds -18
Hull FC -4 v Warrington
After winning with 12 men at home to Castleford and getting back to winning ways, a visit from a struggling Warrington side will hold no fears and should see the Black and Whites come home comfortably.
Pick: Hull FC -4
St Helens v Leigh +14
Just when we decide to put our trust in them at Widnes, they let us down spectacularly. Haven’t seen much to suggest we’ll beat Leigh by more than 14, despite the Centurions downturn in form. Take Leigh.
Pick: Leigh +14
Castleford v Wigan +6
A game where the result could go either way, take Wigan to keep it close.
Pick: Wigan +6
Salford -10 v Widnes
Despite Widnes beating Saints, they’re still awful and we expect Widnes to put them to the sword pretty easily with home advantage.
Pick: Salford -10
Wakefield -2 v Catalan
The old adage that Catalan don’t travel well…. and Wakefield always seem to go well at home, narrowly coming up short against Wigan recently, so go for the Wildcats to sneak it here
Pick: Wakefield -2
