| Day of the Match - A Wakefield |

Before this game, given that we had nine first team members out, most of us would have settle for a win of any description, but at the same time, most of us must have expected the worst on what is traditionally a difficult ground for the Saints. In the end, to win by a scoreline of 50-6, and play such fine attacking rugby when so many players were missing, can only have been beyond our wildest dreams and every last Saints supporter should be proud of their injury ravaged heroes tonight.

| Day of the Match - H Harlequins |

Well, all as I can say is that I am glad we have today formally announced that the new stadium construction is finally going ahead or this could have been one of the shortest and dullest Day of the Match reports for some time, as Saints stumbled their way over the finishing line on an afternoon of high octane boredom. In the end, we could probably count ourselves lucky that Harlequins respected possession about as much as we did as the Super League world continues to strive to break the world record for the number of knock-ons in a round of fixtures.
