Lick It and Stick It - Rhinos Rumbled
elastoplast

A night of hot blistering action, played out in the cold and damp that has become synonymous with match night at LP; where video ref Phil Bentham and his mouthpiece Steve Ganson seemed to think it was all about them; a full strength Leeds Rhinos turned up at Langtree Park without a loss this season to take on an Elastoplast covered Saints side missing half of the regular first team but still proudly carrying a 100% record in Super League 2014...

It was guaranteed to be an absolute nightmare - or probably the most monumental night experienced at LP so far.

It took 78 minutes for your Super Saints to beat Leeds, Silverwood, Bentham and Ganson, to give us THE most absolute monumental night at Langtree Park.

Saints Bash Wham Kapow Robins Back To Batcave
Robin Without Batman

It was a night of great excitement at Langtree Park as Samoan World Cup barnstormer Mose Masoe looked to make his debut in the RedVee.

This turned out to be a bit of a damp squib in reality as his fitness looked short of the mark, as did his handling - just shows what a lack of game time can do to a bloke.

Let's hope this was just first night nerves and that Mose will soon be smashing them like a bulldozer: we're a fickle bunch and players only get away with it the once!

The game itself though was a bit more of a cliff hanger than most would have liked for the first 40, with honours even at the break.

Saints then did what is fast becoming a trademark in coming out of the sheds after oranges and chalking up a quick succession of points to avoid any embarrassment.

With Robin safely dispatched back to the Batcave, Saints maintain their winning start to the campaign and stay top the Super League table.
