Default Fixture Change - Huddersfield Away

    http://www.saintsrlfc.com/news/page/6938

Our fixture that was originally scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday 29th May has now been moved to Friday 16th June (cup weekend).

At least we now don't have to "double up" over next weekend but we longer have a free weekend when the Challenge Cup is being played.

Hopefully if we are on the up and get ourselves on a roll at that point, no break may help us there.

    Good.

Back to back games are bad enough at Easter, let alone this craziness doing it twice in a season. I'm not glad we're out of the cup but I am glad we can use our common sense and do things like this instead, it will give us a massive advantage later that week.
WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF POOR BEN FLOWER?!

It's good for us no doubt. But it makes me wonder what the point of the BH fixtures are if they are simply going to move them when a free weekend appears. Seems like the RFL didn't have enough weekends to schedule an entire season so they plumped a round on a BH Monday as a last resort.

The teams who have to play on that Monday will rightfully feel a bit peeved that they are getting screwed because they are still in the Cup.

I accept its better for the team but I am livid. Huddesfield change a game date because the footy team are at Wembley? What a disgrace. The RFL Should have refused. Now have to go on a bloody weekday night instead of a relaxing Sunday.
Huddesfield should be forced to give free entry to away fans.
In my head you're still alive. I know it's a lie, but it's one I like.
I can still feel you pull on my arm when I was afraid to go.
