    Default Good Friday Tickets

Tickets are on sale now for the game at Wigan on Good Friday. However unlike previous years, seating is RESERVED so if there's large groups going together it might be worth getting tickets sooner rather than later.

We'll need more than one block of seats.

Why is it such an early kick off time?

Because SKY always show one game at dinner and one mid-afternoon and ours has been chosen as the dinner time game this year.

Yes - hopefully the dinner game will have humble pie on the menu.

In my head you're still alive. I know it's a lie, but it's one I like.

I agree. It's got chaos written all over it. Half the people there will ignore the fact it's reserved seating and then when people come along and try and move them out of "their" seat, all hell will break loose.

Haha I'll be having a bacon butty for my dinner and probably a kebab for tea after several pints during and after the game. How the other half live eh?!

    Ridiculous decision.

No one will pay any attention to it, and there'll be chaos with the stewards.

Or we could all just sit in the right seat like grown ups

Am i right in thinking that we can sell the full allocation when the seats are allocated

I'd rather sit with my mates thanks, unreserved seating has not been an issue in previous years.

It will ruin the atmosphere as well.

Buy tickets with your mates then. I won't be impressed one bit if someone is in my seat and refuses to move.

I don't agree with the decision but they've made the decision so live with it.

I, along with many others prefer to stand up also, I presume that's out of the window now, as well?

Well it's an all seater stadium, that's always been the case. Whether the stewards want to enforce that is completely at their discretion.

What I mean is, that people who wish to stand congregate at the back so as not to block others views.

I have bought seats early for a few of us near the back, but that won't be the case for everyone.

I can just imagine there's going to be some issues on the day

I'm with you, its a poor decision from Wigan and I prefer to "stand" or sit near the back myself. I've never seen issues with unreserved seating personally but is a decision they've made.

There will be issues on the day because some will try and sit near their mates, rather than in their actual seat and that will cause the problems.

Put it another way, if it was a Grand Final or Challenge Cup you would have a reserved seat.

Almost guaranteed to be issues with this. Some people who don't want to stand will buy seats near the back and then complain. Some who want to stand at the back won't be aware of the new rule and will find seats on the back 10 rows sold leaving them to either take someone else's seat or sit further down. Why Wigan have done it will he interesting to find out.

When it's unreserved seating, you have to leave a percentage of seats free, which I don't think you would if it's reserved seating, allowing a bigger attendance.

I'm really not sure that this is a big deal. At any major sporting or entertainment event, you would have a reserved seat. Surely we are all competent enough to read a ticket and sit in an appropriate seat? Although it would be nice to have an option to select your seat online.

As for the atmosphere issue, it doesn't seem to have too much of an impact at games with reserved seats or at football games. If we deliver on the pitch, then we'll make a hell of a lot of noise.
