But lets not start panicking just yet.

The chairman sacked Royce because he didn't have a plan b. To be fair, Potter didn't have a plan b and in his second season Daniel Anderson lost the way with the attacking style of play us fans were used to seeing under Ian Millward.

Under Millward we and the team had a never say die attitude. We need that attitude again.

There's talk of transition but i believe that started back in 2006. And in the new stadium we have finally got to where we wanted to be.

What really gets to me is that after each game we've lost this season, there are threads appearing slating every minor error or mistake that is made. I understand that its perfectly within anyone's rights as a paying fan to voice their frustration. I totally agree. I just hope none of the players read the threads.

We need to get behind the team at every opportunity. We need Mike and Keiron to work with the team and make them a team that plays for each other..

On paper we have a better side now than we did at the beginning of the super league era. The thing that made us successful there was working as a team. I read a quote the other day that probably sums us up at present.

"there's no i in team but there are five in individual brilliance".

Wigan were no better than us last week but they played for each other. We did to some extent but we never had that killer instinct. Longys book talks about ideas and players being consulted on tactics it worked then, why not now. Worth a try.

I have no doubt in my mind that we should stick with the team and once it clicks we will beat any opponent. I honestly believe we are capable of winning the grand final this year and id like to think that every squad member believes the same.

We can win the grand final this year. Its up to every fan and player to get behind the saints and make sure we're up there at the top in October.

Come on you saints!!!!

Obviously, there will be some idiotic posts aimed at the OP, wigan fans in general etc - as it is a web forum - but hopefully some of you will give your take on the Derby. Commentsa suitable may be put onto the website which will be active in a while but still under development.
